Good News: Just In Atlanta Braves Just Officially Announced The Signing Of Another Top Experienced Star Player From……

The Atlanta Braves are enhancing their lineup with the addition of veteran first baseman Garrett Cooper. According to Robert Murray of FanSided, the Braves have signed Cooper to a minor-league contract that includes an invite to Spring Training.

Cooper, 34, brings eight years of MLB experience and was an All-Star with the Miami Marlins in 2022, where he posted a .261 batting average, nine home runs, and 50 RBIs over 119 games. Despite a challenging 2024 season split between the Chicago Cubs and the Boston Red Sox, where he hit .206, Cooper rebounded with a .310 average in Triple-A with the Baltimore Orioles organization.

With a career MLB OPS of .759 and versatility at both first base and the outfield, Cooper adds depth and power to the Braves’ roster. This signing provides Atlanta with another right-handed bat as they continue to adjust their lineup after missing out on some of their other free-agent targets.
