SAD NEWS: Just In Auburn Tigers Football Just Officially Announced The Departure Of Another Fans Favorite Top Experienced Star Player Due To…….

The Philadelphia Eagles will face a tough challenge in their pursuit of Super Bowl LIX without offensive lineman Jack Driscoll. The team placed Driscoll on injured reserve on Friday after he appeared on the injury report with an ankle issue. This change in status comes as the Eagles prepare to start the NFL playoffs against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Driscoll, who had been a key reserve player for the Eagles this season, played in 12 games before stepping into a starting role during the Eagles’ 20-13 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday. In that game, Philadelphia rested many of its starters, and Driscoll played all 68 offensive snaps at right guard.

Originally selected by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Driscoll has since played in 67 regular-season games and four playoff games. His versatility has been a valuable asset to the Eagles, as he has started nine games at right guard, eight at right tackle, and one at left tackle.

To fill Driscoll’s spot on the active roster, the Eagles signed offensive lineman Brett Toth from their practice squad.

Driscoll’s injury leaves seven former Auburn players currently on the active rosters of NFL playoff teams:

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers nose tackle Montravius Adams
  2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker K.J. Britt
  3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Jamel Dean
  4. Los Angeles Chargers long snapper Josh Harris
  5. Washington Commanders cornerback Noah Igbinoghene
  6. Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix
  7. Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Colby Wooden

The Eagles will now look to adjust their offensive line depth as they head into the postseason without Driscoll.
