Jannik Sinner has reassured fans that he did not experience any injury issues after defeating Holger Rune, keeping his flawless record in the ATP Finals group stage. Sinner has been the standout performer in Turin, having also defeated Novak Djokovic in his second match.

Sinner entered the match against Rune already guaranteed a spot in the semi-finals, though a loss would have allowed Rune to qualify at Djokovic’s expense. Ultimately, Sinner won the exciting match 6-2, 5-7, 6-4, and confirmed he emerged injury-free.

“I felt some pain in the second set, but it went away,” Sinner explained. “It was due to a specific movement, but overall, my body is fine. I never considered retiring or anything like that.”

“It was crucial for me to win this match to validate my performance against Novak. I had never beaten Holger before, and I knew it would be a tough contest.”

“It’s fantastic to have secured the win. Holger is a great player with a powerful serve. This victory means a lot to me, and I see a significant opportunity ahead for Saturday.

“It’s a privilege to be in the semi-finals of this tournament, especially here in Italy. I thrive under pressure.

“I’m enjoying the experience and hope to maintain this level of tennis.”
