Considering that Hurts’ pockets are still full, this revelation made headlines. In 2023, the top athlete became the highest-paid player in the NFL when he inked a $255 million contract with the Eagles. Many would assume that he would spend some money on a large estate, but Hurts has different ideas with his millions.
Hurts leases an apartment in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, according to the Sun. The quarterback finds the apartment’s low rent reasonable, and it’s only a 20-minute drive from Philadelphia.
Regarding the housing decision in 2021, Hurts said, “It was just me, so I didn’t buy a house or anything like that when I got drafted.” “This large space wasn’t necessary for me alone.I recently moved into a little apartment. Something smooth that will last me for the time being, you know.
Hurts is no longer the only one, though, since last September the sportsman proposed to Bry Burrows, his college love. According to reports, the 26-year-old continues to use the rental throughout the football season in spite of this.
The NFL player continued to make real estate investments in Humble, Texas, his hometown. For $215,000, he initially purchased a house registered in his father’s name, Averion Sr. Even though the house has three bedrooms, his next acquisition that fits a millionaire’s budget is more superior.
Hurts also purchased a $6 million house in Texas. Situated on a 10-acre site, the 6,000-square-foot property features six spacious bedrooms and baths. It also has two garages, one detached and big enough to hold four automobiles, and a huge swimming pool.

Although it’s unclear what he intends to do with the extra house, the Super Bowl MVP found the expense to be insignificant. He most recently purchased a fourth Houston property that was registered in his mother’s name.
Hurts earns an average of $51 million per year, but his frugal spending practices are a great advantage in and of themselves.
