Steelers Re-Sign Offensive Lineman Ryan McCollum

The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially re-signed offensive lineman Ryan McCollum to his exclusive rights free agent (ERFA) tender, the team announced on Monday.

McCollum’s Role in Pittsburgh

McCollum, who has been with the Steelers since 2022, has split time between the practice squad and active roster. In 2024, he stepped in as a starter for two games against the New York Giants and New York Jets while rookie center Zach Frazier was sidelined with an injury.

Throughout his career, McCollum has played in 30 NFL games and made three starts, proving to be a valuable depth piece on Pittsburgh’s offensive line.

Career Journey

Before joining the Steelers, McCollum had stints with the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions. Originally an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M, he has steadily worked his way into a meaningful role in the league, providing reliable interior line depth for Pittsburgh.

By retaining McCollum, the Steelers ensure continuity on their offensive line as they prepare for the 2025 season.
