Breaking News: Pittsburgh Steelers Just Agreed $508 Million To Officially Announce The Signing Of Another Top Sensational Superstar From…

Steelers Sign Former Ravens Linebacker Malik Harrison to Two-Year Deal

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to terms with former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Malik Harrison on a two-year, $10 million contract.

Harrison, 27, was originally selected by the Ravens in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Over four seasons, he became a key rotational player, known for his run-stopping ability, versatility as a depth linebacker, and contributions on special teams. He played in 76 games, making 34 starts, and provided valuable support to Baltimore’s defense.

Increased Role in 2024

Throughout his time in Baltimore, Harrison typically played 20–25% of defensive snaps per season, serving as an edge-setter and run defender. In 2024, after second-year linebacker Trenton Simpson struggled early in the season, the Ravens relied more on their veteran linebacker depth, including Harrison, Chris Board, and Kristian Welch. Harrison saw a career-high 38% of defensive snaps, recorded his first career sack, and finished the season with two sacks.

Steelers Add Another Former Raven

This move marks the second consecutive season in which Pittsburgh has signed a Ravens linebacker. In March 2024, the Steelers brought in Patrick Queen on a three-year, $41 million contract. Now, with Harrison joining the roster, Pittsburgh continues to bolster its linebacker corps with former Baltimore talent.

Impact on the Ravens

Harrison’s departure will leave a void on Baltimore’s special teams, where he played a significant role. Over his career, he was on 76.2% of the team’s special teams snaps (1,558 total snaps), making him one of their most reliable contributors in that phase of the game. The Ravens will now need to find a replacement to maintain their special teams unit’s strength heading into 2025.
