“He Want Me To Leave” Sad News: Pittsburgh Steelers Fans Favorite QB Justin Fields Just Announced A Shocking Departure Due To…

Matthew Stafford opted to rejoin the Los Angeles Rams; therefore, the Raiders were unable to sign him.

According to Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review Journal, Stafford was being pursued by the Raiders. What will happen to the Silver and Black next? The addition of the Super Bowl champion quarterback would have been a significant improvement, but the Raiders must now change course.

The Raiders have no interest in Sam Darnold or other free agents, according to Vic Tafur of The Athletic.

However, Justin Fields is one they ought to give serious consideration to. Chip Kelly, the new offensive coordinator for the Raiders, would benefit from his mobility. Fields’ ability to scramble allows him to extend plays and would flourish in Kelly’s fast-paced system.

Fields has tossed for 7,780 yards, 45 touchdowns, and 31 interceptions in his four NFL seasons. His legs have also shown potential; he has run for 2,509 yards and 19 touchdowns. He ran for a career-high 1,143 yards and eight touchdowns in 2022.

Last season, Buckeyes quarterback Will Howard ran for seven touchdowns and threw for 4,010 yards under the direction of Kelly, who was formerly Ohio State’s offensive coordinator. Undoubtedly, Kelly has the ability to maximize Fields’ potential.

Since Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders may be available at No. 6, the Raiders should realistically be considering both Fields and the quarterbacks in this year’s draft class. But in order to win right now, the Raiders need to figure out how to get Fields wearing silver and black. That’s what new Raiders coach Pete Carroll wants.
