According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Bryce Harper stated, “I think it’s great for the players.”
Both the Dodgers and the Phillies will be opponents for the team. Teoscar Hernandez’s re-signing, Blake Snell, and Roki Sasaki were the main acquisitions made by Los Angeles. Seeing how the Phillies compare will be intriguing. Despite being among the National League’s top teams in recent years, they have been unable to overcome the adversity of winning a World Series. The Mets made their debut last season, defeating the Phillies in the NLDS on route to their march to the NLCS. Of course, the Atlanta Braves are a strong club with guys coming back from injuries, and New York is in the same division as the Phillies.
The Phillies rely on their core group to win in the postseason since they have added a number of elite players in recent years. The most well-known player is Harper, and he and others like Trea Turner will need to play a significant role in the team’s 2025 success once more. Harper and the Phillies will not back down from the challenge; that much is clear.
