The Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers are undoubtedly still in love.
Over the past two postseasons, the animosity between the two Atlantic Division rivals has intensified dramatically, with the Panthers consistently giving the Bruins the spoilers.
When Team Canada plays Team USA in the 4 Nations Face-Off on Saturday night at Bell Centre in Montreal, the animosity between the two teams will be set aside.
With Seth Jarvis on Team Canada’s fourth line, Brad Marchand and fellow agitator Sam Bennett are anticipated to be linemates.
“He plays with great intensity. According to footage given by the Bruins, Marchand described Bennett as “very skilled.” He is a tremendous addition to the squad since he is very patient and plays the entire game. genuinely excited to play with him. I enjoyed how we worked together to practice. He has direct experience as a competitor. In certain situations, he excels.

When Bennett got away with a sucker punch that caused Marchand to miss two games of Boston’s second-round series against Florida last spring, the Bruins captain was referring to that close-up view.
According to Marchand, he and Bennett essentially spoke about the incident, and the temporary linemates have put the rivalry on hold and moved on—at least for the round-robin competition.
Marchand laughed, “I just said I’m not passing him the puck; we didn’t really get into it.” Things happen in the world. You let it go, regardless of what occurs throughout the season. We are all fighting for the same cause and have the same motivation for being here. We can make jokes about those.
Bennett clarified that, particularly while he’s wearing the Canadian Maple Leaf, what has already occurred on the ice remains there.
