Breaking News: Tennessee Titans Head Coach Just Announced The Departure Of Two Top Sensational Star Players Due To……

Throughout the pre-draft process, the Tennessee Titans, who will possess the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, will be frequently associated with quarterback prospects Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders. This offseason, Chad Brinker and Mike Borgonzi, the new general manager, must make a big choice at quarterback.

At least one Titans player is putting up his flag right now. Quandre Diggs, a veteran safety, openly endorsed Ward as the draft’s “best quarterback and leader” on social media. It’s important to note that Diggs and Ward are cousins; therefore, prejudice is likely present.

This past summer, Diggs agreed to a one-year deal with the Titans. The seasoned safety made a name for himself as a leader on Dennard Wilson’s defense right away. Sadly, Diggs had a foot injury against the New England Patriots in November that ended his season, but not before recording 42 total tackles in 7.5 games.

This past season, Ward was a force to be reckoned with for the Miami Hurricanes. With only seven interceptions, the former Incarnate Word and Washington State quarterback passed for 4,313 yards and 39 touchdowns. Ward’s offensive totals surpassed 40 points, including four running touchdowns.

The Titans must determine if Ward’s unconventional style of play fits Brian Callahan’s offensive scheme. Although Sanders, who visited with the Titans at the East-West Shrine Bowl, is reportedly the more accurate pro-ready quarterback to run Callahan’s rhythm-and-timing scheme, he is reportedly the superior prospect physically. Both quarterbacks will be subjected to a rigorous evaluation by the Titans.

This summer, the Titans must get a safety who can start opposite Amani Hooker. The Titans would likely be interested in re-signing Diggs if they choose Ward. However, considering that Brinker and Borgonzi intend to rebuild the squad through the draft, the Titans could opt to go younger at safety.
