DEAL DECLINE: Sad News: Pittsburgh Steelers Fans Favorite Top Experienced Star Just Terminate His Contract And Confirm He Want To Leave Due To…

According to several reports, the Pittsburgh Steelers will not re-sign Justin Fields and Russell Wilson in free agency for the 2025 campaign. But they might bring one back, and they might lean more toward one than the other.

Some in the Steelers organization still maintain that Fields should never have been benched for Wilson in the first place, according to James Palmer of Underdog Fantasy, who stated on Wednesday that there is a strong desire to bring Fields back because of his youth and possible affordability.

Palmer remarked, “Mike Tomlin went lone wolf last year by switching from Fields to Wilson.” Early on, it paid off, but in the end, it collapsed. The Steelers should never have switched quarterbacks in the first place, according to many of the folks who were and still are in that building. Wilson has a lot of alternatives, so maybe the Steelers are leaning the other way.

In keeping with recent reports, Palmer also mentioned that Wilson is a viable possibility for the Las Vegas Raiders.

Recently, there has been growing interest in the possibility that the Steelers will let Wilson to depart and bring Fields back. Wilson started 4-0 and finished just 6-5, while Fields, who was not statistically exceptional at the time of his benching, did go 4-2 with him as the starter for Pittsburgh. The 36-year-old Wilson is most likely not the long-term quarterback the ownership has said they would prefer to pursue this summer.

Fields finished the previous season with ten touchdowns and one interception in ten games, including six starts. When it comes to choosing their starting quarterback for 2025, it appears that the Steelers may favor him.
