A number of important Eagles did not practice Thursday at the Linc, but one important Eagle did return. The Eagles meet the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans in ten days.
Attending practice as spectators were DeVonta Smith (hamstring), Dallas Goedert (ankle/rest), Saquon Barkley (rest), and Moro Ojomo (shoulder). On the sideline, Goedert did grab a few passes. Kenny Gainwell (concussion/knee), Cam Jurgens (back), and Landon Dickerson (knee) were not there at all.
The Super Bowl is still a long way off, so don’t freak out.
The good news was that DE Brandon Graham, who tore his triceps in Los Angeles on November 24, made his first appearance at practice on Thursday. Graham joined his teammates on the field in the afternoon after the Eagles triggered his practice window on Thursday. This is the beginning of a potential Super Bowl comeback.
Graham participated in warm-ups and even some pass rush drills with the other Eagles edge players during the press-accessible practice time. Graham’s left arm was in a brace. Officially, Graham was classified as a limited participant.
