BREAKING NEWS: Boston Bruins Captain Brad Marchand Just Officially Announced His Shocking Departure With Bruins Due To…..

Despite admitting he has “no control” over the matter, Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand denied trade rumors pertaining to his future with the team.

Ahead of the March deadline, Marchand was questioned about the reports that he would be involved in a mid-season deal, which would make sense given the Bruins’ current standings. After the Bruins’ 6–2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night—their second straight loss and one that eliminated them from the postseason picture—the team’s captain responded to the reports. Postgame, Marchand stated, “I’m not really worried about what’s being said in the media,” according to Scott McLaughlin.

“At the end of the day, they’re going to make the decisions for the group they feel are necessary.”I’m going to worry about what’s happening here and make plans for this group because I have no influence over it.

And that’s what worries me as long as we’re on Boston ground, you know.” A furious argument between the captain and the presenter of the “Jones & Keefe” program on January 10 resulted from the Bruins’ six-game losing run at the beginning of the season, which heightened speculation about Marchand’s future.

With a 25-22-6 record, the team is now one point outside of the second wild-card place in the Atlantic Division, where they are currently tied with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Bruins suffered back-to-back losses last Tuesday after losing to the Buffalo Sabres 7-2, which came before Thursday’s loss to Winnipeg. Marchand remarked, “It’s been a different year,” following Thursday’s defeat.

“We’re facing a lot of adversity this year, and we don’t have a choice but to work through it.”Naturally, none of us are content with our current situation, especially in light of where we had hoped to be at the beginning of the year, but you can’t concentrate on that.”
