One of the greatest wide receivers in Green Bay Packers history, Davante Adams believes the team is looking to recruit another elite receiver over the summer.
Davante revealed an intriguing tidbit about Green Bay’s interest in prospective free agent Tee Higgins during a recent interview on Up and Adams. In essence, he has heard that the Packers are considering hiring Higgins in order to bolster their arsenal behind quarterback Jordan Love. For what it’s worth, Adams believes the Packers would benefit greatly from having it.
Tee Higgins is a target for the Packers, according to Davante Adams.
“Yeah, I heard they’ve been looking into Tee Higgins,” Adams responded. “He’s a skilled athlete. That’s not a horrible move, in my opinion. “I think Tee is a number one [wide receiver] and he is more than deserving,” Adams remarked. “He can go to any team and be a number 1.”

I suppose we can add the Packers to the list of teams that have been considered as possible destinations for Higgins. The Washington Commanders are a natural fit for the standout receiver, as CBS Sports recently reported. Higgins is technically an excellent match for any club that needs a big-time receiver.
Furthermore, Higgins’ departure from Cincinnati is not assured. Higgins’ decision to join with another team appeared inevitable for a time, but there is now renewed hope in Cincinnati that he may sign with the Bengals again.
Joe Burrow, whose opinion has a lot of weight inside the club, openly lobbied for the team to keep Higgins for the second half of the season. According to a recent source, Burrow, Higgins, and Ja’Marr Chase have talked about playing together in Cincinnati for the foreseeable future. The article calls this a “goal” of the three.
If Higgins becomes available, he will be among the NFL’s most sought-after free agents. As free agency approaches, the Packers and the rest of the NFL will be closely monitoring his circumstances in Cincinnati.
