Breaking News: Boston Bruins Need More Money To Signing Top Sensational Superstar From……

After starting the season as a free agent, former Boston Bruins draft pick Anders Bjork has secured a new opportunity. On Sunday, Bjork signed a professional tryout contract with the Milwaukee Admirals, the AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators. Bjork was originally selected by the Bruins in the fifth round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

Bjork, a 2017 Hobey Baker Award finalist, has had an eventful career, including time spent on the Bruins’ top line alongside stars like Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand. However, his career has been impacted by injuries, with Bjork undergoing left shoulder surgery in 2018 and right shoulder surgery in 2024.

In 2021, Bjork was traded from the Bruins to the Buffalo Sabres as part of the deal that brought Taylor Hall to Boston. He was traded again in 2023 to the Chicago Blackhawks, where he played the latter half of the 2022-23 season. During his time with the Blackhawks, Bjork appeared in 13 games and recorded eight points.

The Notre Dame product spent the 2023-24 season with the Rockford IceHogs in the AHL, registering 27 points in 40 games. Now, as he joins the Milwaukee Admirals, Bjork will face his former IceHogs team in the first game of a five-game road trip on Sunday. This new chapter in his career will provide an opportunity for Bjork to showcase his skills and potentially earn another NHL opportunity.
