BREAKING NEWS: Pittsburgh Steelers Confirm Fans Favorite Top Experienced Star Player Just Terminate His Contract With Steelers Due To……

Cam Heyward, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ stalwart defensive lineman, has etched his name in NFL history with another impressive accolade. Selected to the AP All-Pro first team for the fifth time, Heyward’s performance this season was remarkable, especially considering his age.

At 35 years old, Heyward recorded eight sacks and 11 passes defended, matching the numbers of first-team All-Pro cornerback Patrick Surtain II. His age makes this achievement even more significant, as Heyward becomes the oldest defensive tackle to make an All-Pro team in the Super Bowl era. The last defensive tackle to achieve this honor at 35 or older was Gino Marchetti of the Baltimore Colts in 1964, who was 37 at the time.

This latest recognition could signal the culmination of a Hall of Fame-worthy career for Heyward. Over his illustrious career, he has amassed 88.5 sacks and was honored with the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2023. These accomplishments bolster his case for induction into Canton, securing his legacy as one of the game’s greats.
