Brittany Mahomes has reached her limit.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, are one of the most famous couples in the NFL. However, after the Chiefs star’s best friend and tight end Travis Kelce started dating Taylor Swift, the spotlight on the Mahomes grew even bigger.
Back in July, Mahomes and Brittany attended Swift’s sold-out “Eras” tour performance in Amsterdam, and the two couples hung out afterward. “We were just having fun and enjoying a dinner just like anyone else would,” Mahomes told The Athletic of their double-date. “That’s what makes it so great. We don’t make it more than what it is; it’s just friendship, fellowship and enjoying everyone’s success.”
“It’s a huge platform and everyone in the world can see it, deservedly so because of how great Taylor is, but it’s still Travis,” Mahomes added. “I think that’s what makes it so cool, even though it’s such a big thing for the world.”
With all the new fans Swift and Kelce’s relationship has brought to Chiefs Kingdom, there’s also a lot of new haters. On August 23, Brittany made it clear that she was over the spiteful messages.
Brittany, who’s pregnant with the couple’s third child, posted on her Instagram Stories, “I mean honestly, To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to hear from childhood. There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”
This wasn’t the first time Brittany asked for the hate to stop. Back in December, the Sports Illustrated model wrote a message on her Instagram Stories that read, “Recently there has been A LOT more rude ass people on here, Waaaay more then normal…
“I’m not sure where yall came from, but you should probably go back to where you came from… please.”
